OUR APPROACH TO Your Micro Lipo
Your Micro Lipo procedure is performed under general anaesthetic as a day surgery in a private hospital. Fine microcannulas are used to gently remove fat from targeted areas, allowing for smooth and precise contouring. The procedure typically takes less than an hour, and patients return home the same day.
Recovery generally involves wearing a compression garment over the treated areas for around 2 weeks. We recommend avoiding heavy lifting and strenuous exercise during this time. Most patients can return to light activities and sedentary work within 3 days.
All surgery carries risks, which are important to understand to make a well-informed decision. Complications associated with liposuction can include skin irregularities such as dimpling or asymmetry, poor scarring, excessive loose skin, infection, bleeding, seroma formation (fluid accumulation under the skin), abnormal skin pigmentation, deep vein thrombosis (blood clots in the legs), and anaesthetic-related complications.

Your Results
You will notice a change in your body shape immediately after the procedure although there will be swelling and possibly some bruising present. Your body shape and contours will continue to improve over several weeks post-operatively as the swelling subsides. The fat cells removed during the procedure will not return, however, it is important to maintain a healthy body weight for ongoing satisfactory results.
