Dr Kwok Hao Lie

Dr Lie was born and raised in Singapore. After high school, Dr Lie studied Medicine at Gonville and Caius College in Cambridge University, UK. He moved to Australia in 2011 after his internship year to begin his PhD research at the Jack Brockhoff Research Unit of the University of Melbourne on Reconstructive Surgical Anatomy, under the supervision of Professor Ian Taylor, one of the luminaries of Plastic Surgery. In addition to Dr Lie’s research publications, one of the main papers from his PhD thesis was on the cover of an issue of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

After completing his PhD, Dr Lie acquired a broad range of skills and experience as a hospital medical doctor and registrar in a variety of surgical specialties across the Eastern Health network and Royal Melbourne Hospital. Dr Lie’s training then took him to Sydney, where he spent 5 years gaining further experience as a plastic surgery registrar including an introduction to cosmetic surgery. In 2022, Dr Lie joined the Australasian College of Cosmetic Surgery and Medicine as a Surgical Registrar, to complete his advanced training specifically in Cosmetic Surgery, obtaining Fellowship of the College in 2025.

With his varied experience built of a solid foundation of skills, techniques and knowledge gained from over 12 years of postgraduate in a large breadth of surgical disciplines, Dr Lie brings an extensive repertoire to the (operating) table in order to tailor a bespoke and innovative surgical plan to achieve the goals and vision for each individual.
